Mrs. Dell Townsend, Patron of the Clem Jones Trust will be at Matchroom Snooker Centre on Sunday 25th July 2010 to present the 2010 Champion the inaugural Championship Trophy which will remain at the Champion’s Home Club. In an aim to please players an error of judgement has been made by me and after Management Consultation an instruction has been given to correct this. Four players are effected – Daniell Haenga as last year’s Champion will be given the No 1 seeded position moving Robbie Tibbs as the No 1 Queensland ranked player to the No 2 position. Chee Yap has been moved to the No 7 position and Kyle Lampkin to the No 8 position. The Queensland Open Snooker Championship will be conducted at Matchroom Snooker Centre and the Kedron Wavell Billiards & Snooker Club will assist with tables. If full field of 64 players is achieved, play will commence at both venues on Friday night 23rd and continue on Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th July 2010.
